Tuesday.

Very quick blog as I'm already late for bed, and we've an early start tomorrow. So - supper, main course above, salmon steak with a sauce of pesto and pine seeds, and roast vegetables. Followed by a pudding (below) of plum crumble and cream. Also photographically followed by several spare photoes that I had no intention of including. Oh well, I haven't time to sort it out tonight, so - Goodnight All.

Cruel..dribble, dribble, 2 cruel...and pudding! The only time we get pudding here is when it's pancakes and then they're the main course :(

Now if the treasure in geocaching was puddings I'd definitely have a go!

I agree with her - you are taunting us with this culinary fayre !!!
Most people start the new year with a detox diet, an exercise regime and at the very least feel a little guilty when they revert back to their old ways and start stuffing themselves again - FAT chance with you two !!!
Love Stig
ps almost finished it - 5 more to go I think !!

Dear Daughters, if you examine the last few food photoes, you will see your Mama's machivellian method for slimming. _THE PLATES. The main course is not served on dinner plates, but on pudding plates. The pudding not on pudding plates, but in serial bowls. We eat our usual diets, but in small portions. It works well over a long period.

P.s. But if we see danger of actual starvation looming we visit our dear daughters to stock up a bit.
Cheers, me dears.

P.P.S. Not five to go Stig. Just had lunch, and played with crossword as follows :- 21 Across- Peoples' Daily - 24 Across - Imps (W/imps) - 26 Across - Tort (This should have leapt out at me when I first saw it - but I was making it more difficult than it was- although I think last Saturday's was the worst stinker of a crossword that we've ever come near to completing) - two to go now.
Love, Pa.

And I've just done those :-

13 down - small print.

15 Across - Marvel. (Andrew Marvell early 17th century poet).

Really shouldn't have taken us from Saturday morning to Thursday afternoon!!!!!!! Still, we've done it.
